Sharni Vinson

Sharni Vinson was born within the state NSW and spent her childhood on the southern beaches in the Sydney suburban Cronulla. She participated at her first National Level of Swimming as a teenager and held 4 State records during the course of her high school. Sharni started singing, dancing and acting from a young age. She was the 3rd generation of actors within her family. Her mother performed in musical theatre, and her grandmother was Australia's youngest ballerina to be offered a scholarship in the Borovansky Ballet Company in England. When she was twelve, Sharni began her studies as a pupil in the Brent Street School of Performing Arts in Sydney, where she trained throughout the various dance forms during the subsequent 10 years. At the age of 17 when she graduated from high school Sharni was offered a contract with Roadshow Music Australia as a participant in the all-girl group called "Foxfire IV", whose debut single "Roses," reached the top 50 on Australia's ARIA charts.
